Pousette-Dart Duo to Perform at The Park Theatre on July 12

The Pousette-Dart Band, led by Jon Pousette-Dart, carved a lasting legacy in the 1970s as a mainstay of album radio and a favorite on the college circuit. Known for their harmony-filled, country-tinged folk-rock, they toured relentlessly with legendary acts such as The Byrds, Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat, The Eagles, James Taylor, and Billy Joel, including the iconic Frampton Comes Alive and Yes Fragile tours. Today, Jon Pousette-Dart and longtime collaborator Jim Chapdelaine tour nationally.

Mr. Chapdelaine is a a masterful guitarist and vocalist, and he co-produced several of Jon’s records. A four-time Emmy-winning composer, recording engineer, and guitarist. Chapdelaine’s extensive credits span music for television and recordings for both major and independent labels. A Berklee College of Music alumnus, where he studied guitar with Pat Metheny, he has produced projects for artists like Phoebe Snow, Hassan Hakmoun, the Allman Brothers, and his own band, the Feathermerchants. He has collaborated with artists including Chuck Leavell, Paula Cole, and Delbert McClinton, and mastered recordings for KC Jones, Aztec Two Step, and Clarence Clemons with Bruce Springsteen’s Live at Asbury Park.  

Both Jon and Jim continue to captivate audiences with their soulful performances.
